On Wednesday, June 21, 2017 the Eastchester Volunteer Ambulance Corps (EVAC) held their annual Officer’s Elections. With EVAC’s current President Scott Mikos stepping down after 14 years of serving as an officer, it was time for a new leader. Running unopposed was Life Member Jude Valerioti. EVAC Staff Members Awarded With Lifesaving Awards

Last night, Chief Nicholas Louros, Life Member/Paramedic James DiSciullo, EMT Sebastian Vazquez and Member Joseph Spinelli attended the 44th Annual Westchester Regional EMS Council Awards Ceremony held at Purchase College. The awards ceremony celebrated all the Emergency Medical Service agencies and providers throughout Westchester County. Over 200 awards were given out throughout the night.

New Ambulance Placed Into Service

Earlier this evening, the Eastchester Volunteer Ambulance Corps placed their newest ambulance into service after a small ceremony and blessing by Rev. Carl Maiello, EVAC's Chaplin. This 2017 Ford E350 Lifeline Ambulance (57B3) will be replacing our aging 2007 Lifeline ambulance.
