EVAC Remembers Police Officer Michael Frey

March 21st 2014 marks the 18 year anniversary of the death of Eastchester Police Officer Michael Frey, who was killed in the line of duty by a suicidal sniper who had called 911 requesting assistance. EVAC, as well as other agencies throughout the County and State responded, and most people still talk about that terrible day it as if it was yesterday.

Everyday, our crews at Eastchester EMS check and recheck their equipment to ensure that everything is ready at a moment's notice. Our Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulances are stocked with all the New York State mandated emergency response equipment, as well as other specialized and state-of-the-art supplies that are unique to our agency.
