On Thursday, May 14th, President Scott T. Mikos, Chief Nicholas Louros, Safety Officer Alex Nechis, Board of Director/Life Member Kevin Lynch and Public Relations Committee Chairperson Max Goldberg attended the 42nd Annual Westchester County Regional EMS Council Awards Ceremony held at Sleepy Hollow High School.

New Jersey EMS Line of Duty Death - Flight Paramedic Rebecca Serkey

Flight Paramedic Rebecca Serkey was killed in the line of duty on July 17, 2014 when the TriState CareFlight (TSCF) medical evacuation helicopter she and her colleagues David Cavigneaux and Jamie Butler were in crashed in New Mexico while en route for a critical patient. Rebecca was a veteran EMT/Paramedic who previously worked and volunteered throughout New Jersey before joining TSCF in 2012.

Emergency Services Charity Hockey Game

EVAC would like to invite everyone to come show their support for EMT Justin Bayer as he participates in the first ever "Fire on Ice" Charity Ice Hockey Game to be held at the Brewster Ice Arena on Saturday July 26th at 5PM. Justin plays on the Westchester/Putnam Smoke Eaters team which consists of EMT's, Firefighters, and Paramedics from the region. They will be facing the Deuce-Deuce hockey club ...
